ROP arrests expat for smuggling large quantities of drugs into Oman

Muscat : An expat has been arrested by the Royal Oman Police (ROP), for participating with international gangs in smuggling narcotics. More than 50 large packages of crystal drug has been seized in his possession.

A statement issued online by the ROP said :"The General Administration of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control arrested an expatriate on charges of participating with international gangs in smuggling narcotics with the intention of trafficking and using them. The ROP  seized 53 large packages of crystal drug and a quantity of morphine in his possession. Legal procedures are being completed against him."
