Muscat: Muscat International Airport runway will be closed for maintenance on Friday, 25 June, 2021, from 4.25 am to 10.45 am.
An announcement issued online by Oman Airports said: "Our dear passengers via Muscat International Airport, in our constant efforts to provide safety and security for our passengers, we would like to inform you that we are carrying out a necessary maintenance work of the runway at Muscat International Airport, which will take a place for 6 hours, starting from tomorrow morning, Friday, 25 June, 2021, from 4.25 am to 10.45 am."
"The maintenance work will include rubber removal, runway sealant repair and deep inspection. Moreover, there will be a tower evacuation exercise at the airport. Therefore, the runway will go under a full 6-hours closure till all the maintenance work is done," added the announcement.
