Project helps 20 children undergo surgeries in Oman

Muscat: Khoula Hospital conducted urgent surgeries on 20 children with congenital defects, in cooperation with Al-Jisr Foundation for Charitable Activities.

" Khoula Hospital, in cooperation with the Al-Jisr Foundation for Charitable Activities, is conducting a pioneering experiment for a joint project, which was to perform urgent surgeries at some private hospitals for children with congenital defects such as cleft lip," Oman News Agency (ONA) said in a statement.

ONA added that 20 surgeries were performed by professional medical staff from the Department of Reconstructive, Plastic and Burn Surgery at  Khoula Hospital in private hospitals.
