Minor earthquake recorded in Oman

Muscat: The Earthquake Monitoring Centre at the Sultan Qaboos University has recorded an earthquake of 2.2 magnitude on the Richter scale, in Al Dhahirah Governorate. The quake occurred on Sunday at 7:11 pm.

“An earthquake of 2.2 magnitude in Al Dhahirah Governorate at 7:11 pm,” the centre said in a statement.
