Omani citizens may use Civil ID to cross UAE land ports :ROP

Muscat: Citizens are now allowed to use the Civil ID to cross the land ports adjacent to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Royal Oman Police (ROP) announced on Wednesday.

"The Royal Oman Police draws the attention of the honourable citizens to the possibility of using the Civil ID to cross the land ports adjacent to the United Arab Emirates. Additionally, the honourable nationals of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries can use their respective ID card to enter the Sultanate of Oman through the various ports, " ROP said in a statement.
