Dar Al Atta’a Association holds summer student work camp

Muscat: Dar Al Atta’a Association and the Scientific College of Design organised a summer work camp with the participation of a number of students from the schools of Muttrah who are under the umbrella of families with limited income. The camp would last for one month.

Dr. Shamsa Hamad Al Harthi, Director General of Atta’a said that 25 students are taking part in the camp which aimed to increase the awareness of students through training them on artistic and life activities besides organising entertainment trips to some of the wilayats of the Oman to acquaint them with the key historic and archeological sites.

The camp also aimed to cement the Islamic and Omani concepts of healthy life including nutrition, sports. Khoula Al Mamary, Marketing Director of Dar Al Atta Association supervising on the camp said that the camp is a health initiative from Dar Al Atta’a which would boost the skills of students and provide them with the opportunity to explore their full potentials.
