Muscat: The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) has cautioned citizens and residents from attempting to cross valleys during rains. Earlier today, Oman Meteorology forecast rainfall and thundershowers over parts of the Sultanate till Saturday.
The CDAA said in a statement: “A follow-up to what was published by the Civil Aviation Authority, Oman Meteorology, about the rains over some governorates of the Sultanate of Oman and the spread of convective clouds leading to thunderstorms from today until Saturday, June 25, 2022.”
"The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority calls upon citizens and residents not to risk crossing valley streams, to avoid sitting near them, to keep watch on children, and not to leave them alone, in order to preserve the safety of lives and property."
