1/2 cup chicken mince
2 tsp soy sauce
½ tsp white pepper powder
½ tbsp, coriander leaves chopped
2 tbsp cornflour
½ tsp. salt
Mix the chicken mince with the above ingredients and shape into small balls.
Heat 3 cups of water and boil the chicken balls for 10 minutes.
Remove the balls with the help of a slotted spoon and keep aside. Discard the water .
Ingredients for the soup
8 cups chicken stock
1 carrot sliced
6 cabbage leaves, sliced into thin strips
2 tbsp celery chopped
¼ cup French beans, finely chopped
1 egg beaten
5 tbsp of cheddar cheese (grated)
Boil the stock. Add the vegetables, seasonings and cook for 7 minutes.
Add the chicken balls and cook for another 5 minutes, add the beaten egg to the soup and use a fork to whisk vigorously.
Switch off the gas.
Serve the soup hot topped with cheese.
