Weather forecast for the next 48 hours in Oman

Muscat : Thunderstorms are likely over various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman during the next 48 hours, said Oman Meteorology. 

"Partly cloudy weather is expected over most governorates of the Sultanate of Oman during the next two days, with chances of occasional thunderstorms on the Al Hajar Mountains and neighbouring areas and parts of South Al Sharqiyah, Al Wusta, and Dhofar Governorates," Oman Meteorology said in a statement.

The aerial picture shows the spread of clouds over the Al Hajar Mountains and separate areas of the Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates, with sporadic rain expected on parts of the Wilayat of Duqm.
