Muscat: Hamra Ad Duru station in Al Dhahirah Governorate has recorded the highest temperature in the Sultanate of Oman on Sunday, June 2, 2024 which was nearly 50 degrees Celsius.
According to the data showed by Oman Meteorology, Hamra Ad Duru station in Al Dhahirah Governorate recorded 49.3 degree Celsius as the highest temperature in last 24 hours followed by Fahud station in Al Wusta Governorate with 49.0 degree Celsius then Sunaynah station in Al Buraimi Governorate with 48.5 degree Celsius . "
While Ibri station in Al Dhahirah Governorate recorded 48.3 degrees Celsius, 48.2 degrees Celsius in Liwa station and 48.0 degrees Celsius in Sohar station in North Al Batinah Governorate. Barka station in South Al Batinah Governorate has registered 47.9 degree Celsius and 47.6 degree Celsius in Saham station in North Al Batinah Governorate.
