Political Affairs Undersecretary receives UN Envoy to Yemen

Muscat: Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs received in the general diwan of the ministry today, Hans Grundberg, UN Secretary-General's Special Envoy to Yemen.

The meeting discussed the developments in the Yemeni issue and reviewed efforts exerted with the parties involved to reach a peaceful solution that serves interests of the Yemeni people and maintains security and stability in the region.

The meeting was attended by members of the delegation accompanying the guest and some officials at the Foreign Ministry.
