Muscat: The Royal Oman Customs has successfully intercepted a drug smuggling operation involving marijuana. A quantity of the illicit substance was discovered concealed within a postal parcel.
Authorities have initiated legal proceedings against the individuals responsible for the attempted smuggling. This successful operation underscores the Customs agency's commitment to combating drug trafficking and safeguarding the nation.
Oman Customs said in a statement :"The General Administration of Customs thwarted an attempt to smuggle a quantity of marijuana, which was tightly hidden in a postal parcel. The necessary legal measures are currently being taken."
