Salalah Amateur Cycling Race witnesses diverse participation

Muscat: The Salalah Amateur Cycling Race was held as part of the Salalah Tour in Oman. The race was organised by the Oman Cycling Federation and attracted a number of participants from both citizens and residents.

Distance: 18 kilometers

Starting point: Sultan Qaboos Youth Complex for Culture and Entertainment in Salalah

Age groups: 23-39 years, Under-23, 40 years and above

Winners:

Age group 23-39 years:

1st place: Talal Al Maskari

2nd place: Abdullah Ramadan Qaroo

3rd place: Asaad Mustaheel

Under-23 age group:

1st place: Badr Al Nubi

2nd place: Ammar Al Habshi

3rd place: Salman Awad

Age group 40 years and above:

1st place: Hamad Al Shakhsi

2nd place: Ali Al Gharibi

3rd place: Lauel Castillo

The Salalah Tour aims to encourage and increase the number of cyclists in Dhofar Governorate and raise awareness of the importance of physical activity.
