HANOI: Times of Oman, along with a select group of influencers and media personalities from the Middle East, visited Vietnam for an exclusive tour organized by VinFast from September 24th to 27th.
This visit followed VinFast’s recent move to expand into the Middle East, with the opening of its first showroom in Oman on July 31, 2024, in partnership with Bahwan Automobiles Trading LLC (BAT). The showroom features VinFast’s electric vehicles, including the VF 6, VF 7, VF 8, and VF 9.
During the visit, the Middle Eastern guests were given a comprehensive experience of Vietnam, including tours of the country’s iconic attractions. The highlight of the trip was an exclusive visit to VinFast’s state-of-the-art electric vehicle factory, where the attendees were introduced to the brand’s advanced manufacturing processes.
The visit culminated in a test drive of VinFast’s electric vehicles, including the models entering the Middle Eastern market. The test drive allowed influencers and media representatives to experience firsthand the performance and technology behind VinFast’s electric cars.
VinFast’s entry into the Middle East is a key move, especially as Oman’s interest in electric vehicles grows. The Omani government is promoting EV adoption to reduce emissions, combat climate change, and cut reliance on fossil fuels. This aligns perfectly with Oman Vision 2040 and VinFast’s mission of sustainable mobility, making Oman a key market for its regional expansion.
The Middle Eastern EV market is expected to grow quickly, with Oman leading due to its environmental initiatives. VinFast’s partnership with Bahwan Automobiles brings cutting-edge EVs to Oman, supporting the country’s vision for a sustainable future.
As VinFast continues its expansion, its innovative electric vehicles are set to play a vital role in shaping the future of transportation in the Middle East.
