MSX drops by 6 points

Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) general index 30 on Thursday lost 6.9 points, comprising a drop by 0.15% to close at 4,749.34 points, compared to the last session, which stood at 4,756.29 points.

The trading value stood at OMR9,884,807, comprising a decline by 10.2%, compared to the last session, which stood at OMR11,011,806.

The report released by MSX pointed out that the market value went down by 0.177% to reach about OMR27.42 billion.

The report added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached OMR390,000, comprising 3.95%. The value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached OMR3,976,000, comprising 40.22%. The net non-Omani investment decreased by 36.28% to OMR3,586,000.
