Muscat: Haitham Salim Al Salmi, CEO of the Muscat Stock Exchange, has been honoured with the prestigious Times ‘Business Leader of the Year - Capital Markets’ award at the recent Times Business Leadership Summit held at The St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat.
With over 21 years of executive experience in the capital markets and securities industry, Al Salmi, who is also the chairman of Muscat Clearing and Depository, has played a pivotal role in leading financial market institutions, including financial market infrastructure organisations, intermediaries, and investment banks.
His Excellency Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, presented the award to Al Salmi during a glittering ceremony, recognising his significant contributions to the sector.
