Sayyid Asa’ad receives Foreign Affairs Minister of Maldives

Muscat: At the behest of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, HH Sayyid Asa'ad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan received in his office today Dr. Abdullah Khaleel, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives.

The meeting reviewed aspects of cooperation between the two countries and means of promoting them in various areas to serve the joint interests. They also discussed a set of issues of common concern.

The meeting was attended by Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister and Sheikh Khalifa Hamad Al Badi, Secretary General at the office of HH Sayyid Asa’ad. Meanwhile, it was attended from the Maldives side by Dr. Hala Hameed, Secretary Bilateral for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives and Fathimath Naeema, Senior Under Secretary of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Maldives.
