Oman, Djibouti sign air transport agreement

Muscat: Represented by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), the Sultanate of Oman today signed an air transport agreement with the Republic of Djibouti for enhancing bilateral cooperation in the field of air transport and facilitating the movement of passengers and goods between the two countries.

The agreement was signed by Eng. Nayef Ali Al Abri, Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority, and Diyauddin Saeed Ba’Makhramah, non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti to the Sultanate of Oman.

Oman has so far inked agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) in the field of air transport with more than 130 countries around the world. The pacts will promote Oman as a regional air transport centre and enhance its ability to interconnect various global markets.
