Multiple arrests made for public order offences in Oman

Muscat: Muscat Governorate Police, in coordination with the Special Tasks Police Unit in Baushar, have arrested a group of citizens for disturbing public order and disrupting peace in the Wilayat of Baushar. The individuals engaged in reckless driving, performing stunts, and intentionally creating excessive noise using loudspeakers and modified vehicle exhausts, according to the Royal Oman Police (ROP).

In a separate incident, Al Dhahirah Governorate Police detained five citizens for discharging firearms and performing stunts during a social gathering in the Wilayat of Dhank. These individuals also shared videos of their actions on social media platforms.

Legal procedures are currently being finalized against all those detained.
