ROP advises public to beware of fake domestic worker offers

Muscat : The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has issued a warning about fraudulent advertisements circulating on social media that offer domestic workers at enticing prices.

The Directorate General of Inquiries and Criminal Investigation has uncovered these scams, which aim to steal money from victims' accounts. The fraudulent advertisements use electronic links to access personal and sensitive information.

The ROP advises the public to avoid responding to these fake advertisements, not to click on unknown electronic links, and to refrain from sharing personal and banking details on social media platforms.
