MUSCAT: In the true spirit of Ramadan, Lulu Oman has launched its ‘Convoy of Goodness’ initiative, reinforcing its commitment to supporting communities and spreading kindness. As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, Lulu has been distributing Ramadan grocery kits to families in need, ensuring that the essence of sharing and caring is upheld during the Holy Month.
This charitable initiative has been made possible through a collaboration with the Etruk Bassma volunteer team, bringing together efforts to reach some of the most remote communities across Oman. The Convoy of Goodness has traveled through key governorates, including the most remote locations in Khasab, Sohar, Qurayyat, Al Mudaybi and Salalah, delivering essential food provisions to over 1,000 families. Each kit has been carefully prepared to provide necessary groceries, helping families observe Ramadan with ease and dignity.
Speaking about the initiative, Mr. Shabeer K.A., Director – Oman, highlighted the importance of giving back during this blessed time. “Ramadan is a time of reflection of generosity and community spirit. Through the Convoy of Goodness, we hope to extend a helping hand to those who need it most, ensuring that no one is left behind during this special month. Partnering with Etruk Bassma has enabled us to reach more families and truly embody the values of compassion and unity.”
