Oman bags four medals at the Asian International Stamp Exhibition

Muscat: The Philatelic Society of Oman bagged four medals at the Asian International Stamp Exhibition in Bangkok, Thailand.
Hatem Al Attar, an Omani stamp collector got the grand silver medal for his display of Zanzibar Mails collection from 1893 to 1964.
Sultan Al Habsi won the silver gilt medal for joint Arab edition in 2012, while Malik Al Shukaily won the silver medal for his display of GCC exhibitions memorial collection in 2012.
‘Sultanate of Oman Postal System 1966-2016’ book bagged the big silver medal in the category of postal Publications.
The competition was held at The Mall Ngamwongwan Convention Center between 10 and 15 August.
It was organized by the Public Federation of Inter-Asian Philately.
