Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has apprehended an expatriate following the murder of a person of the same nationality in the Wilayat of Salalah, Dhofar Governorate. The arrest was made in response to a fatal altercation that occurred due to ongoing conflicts between the two individuals.
In a statement released by the ROP, it was confirmed that the Police Command in the Governorate of Dhofar has arrested an expatriate of Asian nationality for the murder of another individual of the same nationality within the Wilayat of Salalah. The incident stemmed from disputes between the two. The legal procedures are now being completed against the arrested individual.
