His Majesty grants royal pardon to 577 prisoners

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, has issued a special pardon for a group of prisoners convicted in various cases.

According to the Royal Oman Police, 577 inmates, both citizens and foreigners, got the royal pardon. The royal pardon by His Majesty the Sultan coincides with the occasion of Eid al-Fitr 1446 AH, and out of consideration for their families.
