CAA approves external operators for Dhofar domestic flights during peak season

Muscat: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of Oman has approved external companies to operate domestic flights to Dhofar Governorate, specifically on the Muscat-Salalah and Sohar-Salalah routes, during peak summer and winter periods.

In a statement, the CAA said: “The authority is inviting proposals from national and international airlines, charter operators, and leasing companies to provide these services during the following peak seasons:

    1. Summer peak: July 1, 2025, to August 31, 2025

    2. Winter peak: December 1, 2025, to January 31, 2026

This initiative aims to accommodate the growing demand for air travel to Dhofar during these periods and ensure seamless connectivity.
