Osaka: The strategic location of the Sultanate of Oman and its unique cultural and tourism potentials have made the Sultanate a unique investment model in the global investment map and a key tourism destination in the GCC.
A number of Omani students studying in Japan reaffirmed that the Sultanate’s participation in Expo 2025 Osaka, Japan provides opportunities in marketing and promoting the Omani heritage, tourism and investment potentials of the Sultanate of Oman.
The Omani students also expressed their delight and pride over meeting with Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth , and the role played in showcasing Oman at the Expo,
which aimed at acquainting the Japanese people with the unique Omani cultural identity , the tourism potentials and the available investment opportunities.
Student Khalid bin Ahmed Al Ajmi, from the University of Tokyo said that the 2025 Expo, Osaka, Japan is one of the key international events that attract millions of visitors from all countries and that the number of visitors is expected to exceed 28 million.
He said that the Sultanate’s participation in the 2025 Expo, Osaka, Japan is “an opportunity that we are proud of for conveying the Sultanate’s message to Japan and to the whole world”.
He said that the Sultanate’s pavilion in the 2025 Expo, Osaka, Japan represents an opportunity for showcasing the integrated cultural image of Oman.
He said that the keenness of His Highness Sayyid Theyazin for meeting the Omani students participating in this event reflects His Highness’ attention, care and utmost support and empowerment of the Omani youth.
He said that the meeting with His Highness was an exceptional moment that would remain in our hearts and minds and would boost our sincerity and sense of responsibility.
Munther bin Ahmed Al Mamari from Waseda University in Tokyo, said that the Sultanate’s participation through its pavilion in the 2025 Expo, Osaka, Japan boosts the Sultanate’s presence and showcases its unique cultural identity at the international arena.
He said that the participation in the event represents an opportunity for the Omani students in Japan for taking part in the various activities and for establishing the relations with the various academic and economic parties.
He also expressed his delight over the participation in the evening held at the contemporary Art Museum, Osaka under the patronage of Sayyid Theyazin.
Student Aisha bint Hamoud Al Hashmi, from Waseda University in Tokyo, said that the participation of the Sultanate’s pavilion in
2025 Expo, Osaka, Japan is a key opportunity for acquainting the Japanese companies and businessmen with the available investment opportunities in the economic fields coupled with acquainting them with the Omani identity, customs and traditions.
She also valued the initiative taken by Sayyid Theyazin for meeting with the Omani students in Japan and for enquiring about their studies and specialisations.
Fadwa bint Fahad Al Rawahi, from Hiroshima University said that the Sultanate’s participation in this global event of 2025 Expo, Osaka, Japan is a strategic opportunity for boosting the Omani cultural identity and for promoting and showcasing the investment opportunities.
She said that the Sultanate’s pavilion in the 2025 Expo, Osaka, Japan would boost the Japanese people’s understanding of the Omani culture and acquaint them with the available investment opportunities in Oman.
