As the country’s first-of-its-kind stopover offering, the programme presents a unique opportunity to explore Oman’s diverse attractions - from the vibrant charm of Muscat to the majestic mountains, golden deserts and pristine coastline beyond. Whether staying for a few hours or multiple days, guests can discover the authentic spirit of Oman, often described as the hidden gem of the Arabian Peninsula.
Originally announced at the World Travel Market in London 2024, the first phase of the programme is now live at omanair.com. Guests can easily book their global travel journey through Muscat International Airport and pause to discover Oman, with a wide choice of customisable packages ranging from four hours to four days and accommodation at 3-, 4-, and 5-star hotels, as well as transport, tours and experiences. With a user-friendly, fully digital service, guests can also benefit from dedicated customer service support.
With thousands of guests transiting through Muscat every week, the programme has high potential to introduce Oman’s scenic landscapes, rich heritage and renowned hospitality to new audiences.
