Eid Al Adha holidays expected to be on these days in Oman

Muscat : Holidays for Eid Al Adha are expected to be from Thursday, June 5, 2025, until Monday, June 9, 2025 according to the Royal Decree No. (88/2022).

Based on Royal Decree No. (88/2022) specifying official holidays, the Eid Al Adha holiday in the Sultanate of Oman will begin from the 9th to the 12th of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah. Friday shall be compensated if it coincides with the first day of Eid . Therefore, Eid Al-Adha holiday is expected to start  from Thursday, June 5, 2025, until Monday, June 9, 2025. Official work will resume on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.

Yesterday the Sultanate of Oman announced that the Dhu al-Hijjah 1446 AH moon was sighted, thus the first day of Eid Al Adha will be on Friday, June 6,2025 .
