Quick response by CDAA saves toddler after breathing stops due to seizures

Muscat : The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) received an emergency call regarding a two-year-old child who had stopped breathing.

Upon immediate communication with the family, it was found that the child suffered severe seizures caused by a high fever, which led to the respiratory arrest.

The operations team promptly guided the family over the phone, providing step-by-step instructions to perform CPR and manage the situation effectively until further help could be provided.

The CDAA reaffirmed its constant readiness to respond to emergencies and stressed the importance of first aid awareness and prompt contact with the operations center during any medical emergency.
