Two arrested for possessing over 85 kgs of drugs

Muscat: The General Directorate for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances has arrested two individuals linked to international drug trafficking networks. The arrests followed a "meticulous monitoring and tracking operation."

The suspects were found in possession of over 85 kilograms of hashish and marijuana, along with 70,000 psychotropic tablets. The narcotics were hidden in a location along the coast of Quriyat and were loaded into a vehicle for the purpose of trafficking and consumption. Legal procedures are being completed against the individuals.
