South Al Batinah launches integrated e-portal and smartphone app Mujab

Al Musanaa: The Governorate of South Al Batinah office on Wednesday launched its newly upgraded e-services portal and the smartphone application Mujab, in a ceremony held in the Wilayat of Al Musanaa. This initiative is part of supporting Oman Vision 2040, enhancing the digital transformation journey, and ensuring the provision of distinguished government services that meet community aspirations and sustainable development requirements.

The event was held under the patronage of Eng. Omar Hamdan Al Ismaili, CEO of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA), and in the presence of Eng. Masoud Said Al Hashmi, Governor of South Al Batinah.

The launch of the e-portal and the Mujab application aims to provide citizens, residents, and beneficiaries with efficient and fast access to government services through multiple digital channels. It features high integration with other government platforms to ensure seamless information exchange and improved performance efficiency. The portal and application offer a suite of services that have been digitised and integrated with artificial intelligence technologies. They also provide informational services about the governorate, its wilayats, development projects, tourist attractions, investment opportunities, and open data.

The new platform includes a package of external services, such as requests for training to support professional development, applications for marriage fund support, requests for municipal equipment support, applications for community partnership projects, among other service packages.

Through this step, the Governorate of South Al Batinah seeks to enhance the technology and innovation sector, provide an attractive investment environment, highlight tourist assets, and empower local administration in line with the pillars and priorities of Oman Vision 2040.
