Tropical depression likely to form in Arabian Sea

 Muscat: A tropical depression is likely to develop over the next 72 hours on the Arabian Sea , without any direct impact on the Sultanate of Oman, Oman Meteorology said. 

According to Oman Meteorology, latest satellite imagery and analysis by the National Multi-Hazard Early Warning Center show cumulus cloud activity over the Arabian Sea, with a low-pressure area over the Indian subcontinent gradually moving westward toward the northeastern Arabian Sea. A tropical depression is expected to develop over the next 72 hours. There will be no direct impact on the Sultanate of Oman over the next three days.
