Muscat: A development agreement was signed yesterday for the establishment of a private hospital in Al Wafa Neighbourhood of Sultan Haitham City.
The agreement, inked with Al Siyabi Global Group as the developer, was formalized during the Home and Building Expo, focusing on urban development and architecture, at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The OMR22-million-healthcare project will be developed on a 33,000-square-meter site, with construction expected to take three to four years to complete.
The new facility aims to create an integrated healthcare center meeting modern medical standards while enhancing quality of life and community services within Sultan Haitham City.
This initiative aligns with the strategic direction to equip the city with comprehensive service, educational and healthcare facilities, representing another step toward developing modern, sustainable urban communities that provide dignified living conditions and integrated services for citizens and residents.
The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Khalfan bin Said Al Shueili, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning and Dr. Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health.
