Kuwait: Represented by the Ministry of Education, the Sultanate of Oman is taking part in the 4th meeting of the GCC Scouts and Guides Committee, which convenes in Kuwait on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The committee made recommendations to endorse the “Unified Gulf strategic Plan for Scouts and Guides (2026-2030)” and requested the GCC Secretariat General to submit the “Unified Strategic Plan for Scouts and Guides (2026-2030)” to the GCC Ministers of Education for approval.
The 5th meeting of the committee will be held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Associations of the Arab Union of Scouts and Guides held an extraordinary conference on the sidelines of the 4th meeting of the GCC Scouts and Guides Committee.
During the conference, Dr. Yaqoub Khalfan Al Nadabi, Director General of the Scouts and Guides Directorate General (Oman), spoke about the need to activate the role of scout action in charitable work. He stressed the importance of enhancing this approach within the context of civil society services, given the ongoing development in the Arab scouting movement in the run-up to "Vision 2030."
