Board of Trustees of Academy for Strategic, Defence Studies holds annual meeting

Muscat: The Board of Trustees of the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies held its annual meeting on Monday at the Academy's headquarters in Bait Al Falaj Camp.

The meeting was chaired by HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs and Chairman of the Academy's Board of Trustees.

The meeting was attended by HH Sayyid Dr. Fahad bin Al Julanda Al Said, Vice Chancellor of Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), Lt. Gen Hassan bin Mohsin Al Shuraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs, Dr. Rahma bint Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, Dr. Said bin Mohammed Al Saqri, Minister of Economy, Vice Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis Al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan's Armed Forces, Maj. Gen Sulaiman bin Khalid Al Zakwani, Secretary General for Military Affairs at the Royal Office, Maj. Gen Hamid bin Ahmed Sakroon, Head of the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies and Air Commodore Ali bin Rashid Al Abri, Director General of Studies and Academic Affairs at the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies (Rapporteur of the Meeting).

The Council reviewed a number of topics listed on the meeting's agenda.
