State Council discusses Eleventh Five-Year Plan and 2026 State General Budget

Muscat: The State Council on Wednesday discussed the draft of the Eleventh Five-Year Development Plan (2026 - 2030) and the draft of the State General Budget for the fiscal year 2026, during its second session of the third ordinary convening of the eighth term.

The session was held under the chairmanship of Sheikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council.

The Council reviewed the report of the Expanded Economic and Financial Committee regarding the draft Five-Year Plan. The Council also discussed the committee's report on the draft State General Budget for 2026.

Then, the Council approved the two reports of the Expanded Economic and Financial Committee related to the draft Eleventh Five-Year Development Plan and the draft State General Budget for the fiscal year 2026, in preparation for submitting them to the Council of Ministers.

The session concluded with a review of the report of the General Secretariat on the Council's activities.
