Workshop held to  create a flexible corporate culture in Oman

A’Seeb: The Ministry of Labour organised held the 4th edition of a workshop on the “National System for Institutional Innovation and Change Management”.

Held in the Wilayat of A’Seeb, the workshop was attended by 100 participants from government units and private sector establishments.

Safia Abdullah Al Harthi, an administrative development specialist at the Ministry of Labour, said, “The workshop constitutes an ambitious initiative that has been implemented by the Ministry of Labour since 2022 as part of its contributions to achieve the goals of the Oman Vison 2040.”

Safia added that the “National System for Institutional Innovation and Change Management” seeks to empower competencies, turn challenges into opportunities and establish a flexible corporate culture that is capable of immediately responding to global developments.

The workshop included video presentations with a detailed explanation of the “National System for Institutional Innovation and Change Management”, a Research Excellence Initiative, a practice of behavioural insights, waste reduction in the Sultanate of Oman within the context of Kaizen’s approach to human resource development, in addition to elaborations about health, safety and security in the work environment.

The workshop aims to enhance integration among different sectors by designing an effective system for exchanging knowledge and transferring the best administrative practices, to keep pace with modern global approaches.
