Horse riders display their skills

Jalan Bani Bu Hasan: Al Tahayim racecourse in the Wilayat of Jalan Bani Bu Hasan saw yesterday the organisation of Al Ardha Horse race competitions as part of the activities of the Winter season (Al Tahayim).

The event is organised under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Ali A’Aka’ak , Wali of Jalan Bani Bu Hasan.

The event aimed to showcase the association between the Omanis and equestrian as an original part of the Omani identity.

The riders displayed their skills in the horse hamble art and Al Ardha show among other horse art accompanied by Omani folk arts, poetry and songs which reflected the cultural heritage of the wilayat and its deep-rooted heritage and equestrian related knowledge.
