Public Prosecution warns against indecent appearance in public places

Muscat: The Public Prosecution has warned that appearing in public places or public roads in a manner that violates public decency or contradicts the traditions and customs of society is punishable by law.

The offence may result in a fine of up to OMR 300, imprisonment for up to three months, or either of these penalties, according to the Public Prosecution.
