Mutual visa exemption between Oman and Belarus

Muscat: The Foreign Ministry is pleased to announce that, as of March 17, 2026, the application of the Agreement on Mutual Exemption from Visas between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Republic of Belarus enters into force. The Ministry calls on all citizens, when planning travel to Belarus, to comply with the regulations and laws of the host country and to observe the following:

1. Obtaining a visa if their entry is before the effective date of the aforementioned agreement.

2. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months.

3. The period of stay should not exceed 30 days per visit, provided that the total period of stay does not exceed 90 days during the calendar year. If you wish to stay for more than 30 days per visit, you must obtain a visa in accordance with the laws of the host country.

4. The purpose of the visit is not to do business, or any other paid activities.

The Ministry also urges everyone to have health insurance that covers the period of their stay, and wishes all travellers a safe and pleasant journey.
