Municipal workers in Oman intensify clean-up process

Muscat: In the aftermath of widespread rainfall across several governorates in Oman, municipal authorities have accelerated clean-up operations to restore normalcy.

Heavy machinery has been deployed by municipal teams to clear accumulated mud, and debris from major and internal roads, ensuring the safe and smooth movement of traffic. The use of large equipment has significantly expedited the dirt removal process, particularly in areas heavily affected by runoff and flooding.

At the same time, teams from Nama Electricity Distribution Company are working on a war footing to restore damaged power transmission lines. Crews are actively repairing infrastructure, reinstalling fallen poles, and addressing faults in the network to reconnect electricity supply to affected communities.
