Two arrested in South Al Batinah for drug trafficking

Muscat: The Department of Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances , under the South Al Batinah Governorate Police Command, has arrested two individuals of Asian nationality on charges related to drug trafficking and possession.

The suspects were found in possession of large quantities of marijuana, crystal methamphetamine, hashish, and psychotropic substance tablets, intended for trafficking and consumption.

Legal procedures against the accused are currently being completed in accordance with applicable laws.

The South Al Sharqiyah Governorate Police Command has arrested an Asian national for possessing large quantities of alcoholic beverages with the intent to trade them. Legal action is currently being taken against him.
