"Qawafi" poetry competition in Classical and Nabati forms announced

Muscat : The Sultan Qaboos Higher Center for Culture and Science announced the launch of the annual "Qawafi" poetry competition, dedicated to Omani poets in both classical and Nabati poetry.

This competition aims to enrich the Omani poetry scene, emphasize the importance of appreciating and supporting Omani talent in both classical and Nabati poetry, and provide the necessary financial and moral support to ensure the continuity and excellence of their poetic endeavors.

The Center indicated that details of the competition, the prizes for the winners, and the application requirements and procedures will be revealed in the coming days.
