Candidacy applications for Municipal Council elections to close on Thursday

Muscat: The deadline for submitting candidacy applications for the election of members of the Municipal Councils for the fourth term (2026) will close this Thursday.

The Ministry of Interior has called upon eligible citizens who wish to run for the candidacy, and who meet the required conditions, to expedite the submission of their applications before the deadline.

Submissions can be made through the "Intakhib" (Elect) application or the official election website (elections.om),with all necessary supporting documents attached.
