Rop says that the four Bangladeshis death due to inhailing of carbon mono oxide gas

Muscat: The leadership of the South Al Batinah Governorate Police dealt with a report of the discovery of four individuals of Asian nationality who had passed away inside a vehicle in the Al-Masna'ah Governorate, as a result of inhaling carbon monoxide gas emitted from the vehicle's exhaust while it was in an operating state.

Previously, four Bangladeshi expatriates were found dead inside a car on Tuesday night, according to Mohammed Yaseen Chowdhury, President, Chattogram Association in Oman.

Chowdhury said all four men were between 25 and 35 years old and belonged to the same family.

According to him, one of the deceased was residing in Nizwa, another in Suwaiq, while the remaining two lived in Muladah.

The four hailed from the Rangunia police station area of Chattogram district in Bangladesh.

Chowdhury added that two of the brothers had been scheduled to return to Bangladesh on Friday. “On the day of the incident, the four siblings reportedly went out together in a car for shopping. Their bodies were later discovered inside the vehicle,” he told Times of Oman.

The Royal Oman Police calls on everyone to avoid operating the vehicle while sleeping or in enclosed spaces, due to the risk of suffocation from toxic gases that this may pose.
