Muscat : The main committee for sighting the crescent moons of the Islamic months at the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs (MERA) will meet tomorrow evening, Monday, to observe the crescent moon of Muharram for the year 1448 AH.
The meeting will be chaired by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Said Al Maamari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs.
The Ministry called upon citizens and residents to observe the crescent moon in cooperation with the field teams in the wilayats or to contact the subcommittees at the offices of their Excellencies the Walis.
