State Council Office discusses studies on demographics, agricultural sector

Muscat: The Office of the State Council held yesterday its 6th meeting of the third regular session of the 8th term, under the chairmanship of Sheikh Abdulmalik Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council.

During the meeting, the Office discussed the study submitted by the Special Committee on “Demographics and its Impact on the Future of Development in the Sultanate of Oman.”

The Office also reviewed the study submitted by the Special Committee on “The Agricultural (Plant) Sector in the Sultanate of Oman: Challenges and Solutions”.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Office approved the agenda items for the tenth session of the third regular session of the eighth term, and determined the topics included on its agenda.
