Sur blue economy forum committee discusses utilising marine capabilities

Sur: The Main Organising Committee for the "Blue Economy and Maritime Investment Forum" in the Wilayat of Sur, South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, scheduled to be held in coming December of this year, revealed the details and orientations of the forum on Tuesday.

This took place during the committee meeting held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Sheikh Dr. Saif Mohammed Al Ghaithi, Wali of Sur.

The meeting highlighted the importance of marine sectors, projects, and capabilities in the governorate's wilayats, as well as economic diversification opportunities, in addition to boosting local investment.

The meeting aimed to exchange knowledge and expertise and explore domains that contribute to enhancing the economic value of the governorate's marine capabilities. It also discussed the main themes, accompanying programmes and participating entities.

The Blue Economy and Maritime Investment Forum represents a space and promising investment opportunities for maritime activities, given the economic capabilities and projects that characterise the governorate's wilayats in the economy sector.
