Duqm launches '10,000 Trees' Park design competition

Duqm: The Special Economic Zone at Duqm (SEZAD) and Duqm Development Company have launched a design competition for the "10,000 Trees" Park, inviting engineering college students to submit innovative concepts for a sustainable tourism and recreational destination serving families, children and visitors to the zone.

The competition is organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Duqm Refinery, and aims to harness students' engineering knowledge and skills in developing comprehensive designs for an integrated park spanning approximately 400,000 square meters within the Special Economic Zone at Duqm.

The initiative seeks to engage student talent in the development of a distinctive environmental and urban project that combines expanding green spaces with the creation of attractive public areas, while simultaneously strengthening the connection between academic institutions and the developmental projects underway in Duqm.
