Oman hosts 20th Conference of Arab Towns Organisation

Salalah: The Sultanate of Oman hosted the 20th General Conference of the Arab Towns Organisation during which the chairmanship of the organisation's round was handed over from the city of Riyadh to Dhofar Municipality.

The Conference was held under the theme "More Innovative and Sustainable Cities".

The two-day conference, held at Sultan Qaboos Youth Complex for Culture and Entertainment in Salalah, concluded on Tuesday under the auspices of HH Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said, Governor of Dhofar.

The conference aimed to enhance cooperation among Arab countries and facilitate the exchange of expertise to achieve sustainable development. the discussions focused on urban development, the digital transformation of cities and the challenges posed to the growth of Arab towns.
